My dear Friend and President, DJT,
I read about your Italian translator making a face when you said that Syria, Turkey and the Kurds have "a lot of sand to play with." Please don't fire her. She just had a momentary lapse. You know how that goes. I wonder if she also made a face when you said that the Kurds were, "no angels."
I wish you hadn't made disparaging remarks about Indigenous Peoples Day at the Italian-American reception last night. Columbus was "no angel" so I really don't think he needs absolute adoration. He was human, just like you and as the Bible suggests, no human should be adored. Loved, yes. Adored, no.
I'm sure you'll have a rejuvenating day in the Lone Star State today. The officials in Johnson County are afraid that the locals are going to create a traffic jam trying to catch a glimpse of you at the new Louis Vuitton "Workshop." Don't you think it's a bit of a stretch to call a 260-acre facility a "workshop?" Do they call it that because the workers stitch the $1500 leather bags by hand? It's too bad the "craftspeople" won't be able to afford one of those bags. I use a messenger bag to lug my stuff around so I won't be paying $2440 for a LV Soufflot.
Please pay Dallas City Hall for the extra security that they'll have to provide for your rally tonight. You didn't pay El Paso the $470,417 charge from your Feb. rally and now they've slapped on a 21% late fee. According to Dr. Rottinghaus, a political science professor at the U of Houston, "a Republican businessman who doesn’t pay his bills might have a hard time appealing to fiscal conservatives who take financial responsibility as a point of pride." You might want to rectify those bills before you sit down for lunch with those GOP CEOs at the City Club in Ft. Worth.
Best,
RCA
