My dear Friend and President, DJT,

The plot thickens! Although, I thought the plot had already congealed, your plan to use your bully pulpit tonight adds to the intrigue. I will be seated on the edge of my chair to see what you have to say to the Nation about the "crisis on the border." W. McGurn opined in today's WSJ that you might offer up something new to the negotiations. Are you coming onto center stage to persuade us all that we need a wall AND a path to citizenship for the Dreamers? That would be wonderful!

NDP worries that your speech tonight will be "full of malice and misinformation." I certainly hope that's not true. If you do throw some false facts in there, you run the risk that folks will see through them. For example, KMN has been saying that 3755 terrorists have been apprehended  "crossing the border" which is misleading because most of those people came by plane. The crystal-clear presentation of that fact is that 1152 "terrorists" were caught trying to come into the country through the land border with Mexico. You can bet that every network will be furiously checking your statements as you speak so best be careful.

 I encourage you to invite some federal workers to sit in the balcony. Be sure to chat with them beforehand. I suggest that you choose the folks that Sen. Chris Van Hollen from MD convened for a press conference.

Johnny Zuagar from the US Census Bureau talked about how he might need to find a different job if he can't provide for his family. He's a sincere guy and just wants to be recognized as a human being rather than being labeled as a "Democrat." 

Keep in mind the quote that McGurn included in his piece today. In some cases, "There is no winning, only degrees of losing." He noted that you have more to lose than anyone in this fight. Finally, BEWARE OF CRYING WOLF!
