My Dear Friend & POTUS, DJT,
Thanks for letting your God shine through yesterday at your women’s history event! I was so impressed that you acknowledged each of your distinguished guest by name & had a compliment for every one of them.
How do you do that? I attempted to greet the parent of the 4th graders at the Kings game we all attended on Mon night. BTW, the Celtics were unbeatable, so the game was not entertaining. I chatted with about half of the families, but it was a stretch. I tend toward the introverted end of the gregarious spectrum & have not honed my skills at initiating conversation. Moreover, I have trouble remembering everyone’s name. You, on the other hand are brilliant at that. Do you think you learned that or were you born that way?
My one suggestion would be to revise comments such as, “there is nothing like strong, beautiful, wonderful women.” Judging women by their appearance reinforces the kyriarchy & that’s so last century. Observations like “Susie Wiles is the most powerful woman in the world” are much better!!!
Was Kat Cammack there? You mentioned she had a new baby so maybe she was home. I was thrilled to hear that she’s “a driving force behind the effort to create a women's history museum.” I hope women don’t have to be in the GOP to get in. Radical women, like Frances Perkins & Ida B Wells, should be front & center. Is that the plan?
Please do all you can to spread the word that WINTA! When the press asks about Greenland, make it clear you aren’t going to start a war in order to have access to their mineral rights. When they ask about Gaza, tell them you are troubled that according to AJ, “Israel kills a child in Gaza every 45 minutes.” If they ask about Burma, where it’s “Armed Forces Day”, tell them you are NOT impressed with Gen MAL’s show of force. Tell them you’d prefer he follow your example & show his respect for the power of women by releasing Aung Sun Suu Kyi from prison.
BYBS,
