DJT,
Have you heard Chris Hayes analysis that “attention is currency?” He says, you do your best to monopolize our bandwidths. Your recent barrage of Exec Orders & appointments are examples of this. You taxed my efforts to sort through which pronouncements would lead to action. I learned from your term as 45 not to take you literally, so I am waiting to see how all this will turn out.
As you proceed, you might heed my girl scout leader, Mrs. Tindall’s, favorite adage, “the hurrier I go, the behinder I get.” The legislators in FL said as much to Gov de Santis in refusing to heed his call for an emergency session to make laws about immigrants.
SoW, what are your thoughts regarding Rep María Elvira Salazar, FL(27)’s, request that you allow the refugees enrolled in the humanitarian parole program to stay in the US? She’s concerned about the Cuban, Nicaraguan, Venezuelan & Haitian residents in her district. Did you speak with her about this at the Congressional gathering yesterday?
SoW, did anyone bring up Burma? Is anyone worried about the scam centers operating there or China’s attempt to corner the market on rare earth minerals?
As you face the complexity of your work, please keep in mind HX 46, Pushing Upward, suggests an incremental approach to change, much like the growth of a tree. It also suggests, “when in doubt, remain still.”
BYBS,
