My Dear Friend & POTUS, JRB,

            I will hold you in the Light today as you speak at the National Peace Officers' Memorial Service. I have confidence that you will express your sympathies in an authentic & loving manner & will describe “the black hole you feel in your chest, like you're being sucked back into it,” as you recount your own grief at the losses you have faced.

            Reuters reports that your speech is an attempt to prevent 45 from capturing high-profile endorsements from police unions. I encourage you to avoid campaigning, rather express condolences & live in the moment, rather than worrying about the future.

            I am trying to not worry about the future, but your plan to send $1 billion of tank ammunition, tactical vehicles & mortar rounds to Israel makes it challenging. Please help me understand how that is going to help the children in Gaza.

            Along those lines, have you seen the latest from the AP regrading Burma. The headline says, “Reports of army killing of villagers in Myanmar supported by photos and harrowing tale of a survivor” & the article describes “a massacre of more than 30 civilians .. in Let Htoke Taw village” & “two recent mass killings involved at least 15 people from a resistance group, along with civilians, who were killed in an airstrike while holding a meeting at a monastery in central Magway region on Thursday, & 32 people killed that same day in disputed circumstances in fighting in Mandalay region.” I’m afraid things are going to get worse there before they get better.

            When you meet with your Joint Chiefs & Combatant Commanders, please ask Admiral Samuel Paparo of the Indo-Pacific Command about the situation in Burma. I also encourage you to bring up my assertion that WINTA to the group. You might be surprised with their response.
