My Dear Friend & POTUS, JRB,

            What did the Teamsters have to say? Did you & Sean O’Brien (SMO) bond over your Irish heritage? According to the WSJ, he calls himself an SOB & says stuff like, “We've organized, strategized, now it's time to pulverize.” What are your thoughts on that kind of intimidating talk?

            Given SMO’s affection for 45, you might have been better off visiting with the International Association of Machinists & Aerospace Workers (IAM) in MD yesterday. They are going into talks with Boeing (BA) on Friday & could use some encouragement. You could make some noise about how BA has been a mess for several years now, because their bosses have gotten greedy. CEO David Calhoun made $22,480,396 in 2022, 154 times its median employee's pay. No one needs that much $ especially when their company is known for sloppy work. Workers complain of “relentless production schedules (which cause) safety & quality risks.” Their toxic culture is often traced to their merger with McDonnell Douglas which brought in a “cost over quality” culture. Let’s stop investing our tax $$ in them.

            Have you read any of my letters? If you had, you might have at least apologized when you announced that “Poland is spending 4% of its GDP on defense much of it purchasing American weapons systems & aircraft.” That’s nothing to be proud of! Especially when we are loaning them the $$ to purchase 96 Apache helicopters from BA!

How is it that the Pentagon “discovered” $300 million in savings on a previously-executed contract for weapons for Kyiv? That sounds like gross mismanagement to me.

On a happier note, I’m excited about the “Connec+ing MKE – Downtown Plan 2040” you’ll be talking about today which will include adding fully separated bike lanes to a major thoroughfare in MKE.

Please call Modi & tell him to stop deporting Chin women back to Burma. I don’t think weavers are a threat to Indian society.
