My Dear Friend & POTUS, JRB,

            As you wrap up your presidency, I encourage you to focus on children including youth in the USA who suffer from illness, neglect & poverty, as well as those in the world who face the added burden of war.

            I ask that you speak with UNICEF Deputy Executive Director Ted Chaiban (TC), who has been traveling the globe to witness the distress of children in conflict zones. In an Oct visit to Northern Gaza, he found that nearly 1 in 5 children suffer from wasting, the most life-threatening form of malnutrition. In Sudan, 3.7 million children under age 5 are projected to suffer from severe acute hunger & are in urgent need of lifesaving treatment. In Ukraine, 16 children are killed or injured each week.

TC just got back from Burma, where 7 children & 2 adults were killed while playing football in the Kachin region on Nov 15. Please shine a light on this devastation! Doing so may have an influence on 45/47, as well as his followers.

            According to the WP you are trying to spend every penny that Congress has allotted you. I encourage you to divert $$ designated to buy weapons for VOZ & send them to UNICEF instead. That move would put you in the headlines & would take everyone by surprise.

            Without some bold move like that, Fox will continue to belittle you by broadcasting silly things, like your senior moment at the NBA event yesterday where you double checked with Justin Tatum & Al Horford that they were the Boston Celtics.

            On a brighter note, have you spoken with Sri Lankan new President Anura Kumara Dissanayake (AKD)? If not, please do & affirm his commitment to tackle corruption & heal the ethnic enmity that has plagued his country. He says he wants to eliminate racist politics & religious extremism. My Sri Lankan student looks forward to the day when Tamils & Sinhalese can live together in peace. Perhaps AKD can make that happen.
