My Dear Friend & POTUS, JRB,

            I hope you get a minute for a last dip in the Caribbean Sea before you head back to DC today. I plan to do a bit of work & a bit of personal stuff today as I transition back to a regular schedule. It’s tempting to try a major overhaul in habits at the start of 2024, but, since I am moving in a couple of months, I can delay major lifestyle changes until then. How about you?

            I’m sure you know that the resolution you shared with Ryan Seacrest on New Year’s Rocking Eve, to “come back next year,” is the brunt of some jokes on Fox & NY Post. According to the G, your optimistic message “touting US job gains & the performance of the US economy” was in stark contrast to 45’s end of 2023 social media posts.

            I continue to hold 45 in the Light, hoping he can find a way to let his God shine through. I hold you in the Light, too, hoping that you can appeal to more Americans, so we don’t have to live through another 4 years of discontent.

            We can all hold onto the wisdom that “this too shall pass” & have faith in the dynamism of the universe so we can embrace change rather than fear it – be it political change, demographic change, climate change or technological change, change will happen. Fascination with it will get us through the rough transitions.

            Speaking of changes, according to Reuters, some junta soldiers have changed their loyalties. These folks act as spies for the resistance, alerting them to movement of supplies & tipping them off about impending attacks & airstrikes. Please be ready to support the changed Burma that will arise from this mess.
