My Dear Friend & POTUS, JRB,
Make art, not war. That’s happening at a new night club in Yangon. A guy named, KOSO, started up the place recently to “challenge patriarchal norms through community building & music production. He says, “techno is revolutionary at its core … (with) a history driven by oppressed societies…There’s a lot of pent-up rage in locals & harder music can provide an outlet for difficult emotions.” I hope the article in VICE about the place does not catch the attention of the junta.
It’s the 26th anniversary of my biggest accomplishment in life – giving birth to my daughter. I was skeptical about being a parent, worried that the world she would inherit would be challenging. I was right about that & am grateful that I had only one child.
Our family mantra is “one is fun.” A single offspring not only reduces family expenses especially travel & education, it also prevents sibling rivalry & minimizes parental guilt. But best of all, it limits population growth, which as we both know contributes more to climate change than any other factor. How about promoting reproductive rights as a climate change initiative?
Voters are not feeling your passion for stopping climate change. The WP says you lack a “simple straightforward message” about the green elements in the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA).
Are you sure you want to be talking about climate change in NM this week? Despite the terrible Calf Canyon/Hermits Peak Fire, some NM citizens are not on board with alternative energy incentives in the IRA. The Permian Basin provides more than 25% of the state’s general fund revenues from taxes & royalties on oil, natural gas, & carbon dioxide production. Gov Grisham vetoed climate-focused tax incentives earlier this year.
Is it true that your administration has “encouraged energy companies to produce more oil to keep gasoline prices in check.” If so, stop doing that!
BYBS,
RCA
