My Dear Friend & POTUS, JRB,

            The day before yesterday I wrote to you about the photos of the giant Buddha in Naypyidaw. Today I write to you about the photos in today’s WP of the children killed in Pa Zi Gyi. I found it too heart breaking to read every word of the article that provided a detailed account of the bombing on April 11 with specifics about the deaths of some of the 25 children who were killed that day.

I believe you have a soft spot for children, so I am sure that you are deeply troubled by this account. After reading the article, I implore you to say something. As MLK reminded us “"In the end, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends."

I know you are on vacation, having fun riding your bike, but this matter is more important than your relaxation.
