My Dear Friend & POTUS, JRB,

            I am worried this morning after reading about you in the NYT & WP. The G did not have anything on its webpage with “Biden” in it, but the other two have troubling articles. The one in the WP starts with, “More than 120 hours passed between when President Biden first spoke publicly about the devastating Maui fires on Aug. 10 & his next substantive remarks about the tragedy the following week.” The NYT notes, GOP voters think you are “so frail that (you) would be beatable by practically any Republican.”

            I conclude from my reading that you are shying away from the press because you don’t know what to say about the Hunter situation. The reporters feel snubbed & are filling in the void by talking trash. We both know the press sensationalizes everything so are being critical of your reaction to the Maui fires & are exaggerating your vulnerability as a candidate.

I am less troubled by the NY Post’s piece about the extravagance of your Lake Tahoe $18 million lodgings. I am concerned that you keep flying around in AF1 which is much bigger than necessary. Could you at least get a smaller plane?

            If you need to be uplifted, check out the WP opinion piece that explains how Shohei Ohtani’s batting & pitching is the latest miracle saving baseball. You also might enjoy watching the highlights of Spain’s win over England in the Women’s Worldcup today.

            As you hob nob at your fund raisers with rich folk, please discourage them from buying teak. According to today’s Mizzima, the junta managed to export $400 million worth of teak from Burma last year despite the sanctions. Please do your part in alerting your cronies that buying teak products is a no-no. Not only does it fund the junta’s atrocities, it damages the environment.
