How is your vacation going? Is your beach house on high ground? If not, beware, a coastal flood warning is in effect for tonight. No such thing will be happening here.

Were you surprised to see that you got 11 mentions in the NYT today? Are you happy to  Paul Klug praising Bidenonomics? It’s too bad that 3 mentions came under the headline, ““Biden Spoke With Son’s Associates, but Not About Business.” Oh well!

            Your mention in the CSM was about & the challenge US Jews now face in their relations with Israel. They noted that even AJC has publicly stated their  “profound disappointment” that “the judicial overhaul could weaken Israeli democracy.”

Best to let them work things out without our interference, but the chance of autocracy in Israel does provide an opportunity to reconsider the $3.8 billion check you send them so they can use it to buy US-made weapons. You might as well write the checks directly to Lockheed-Martin, Boeing & others. If Bibi goes off the deep end, he could use made-in-USA products to harm his own people. Just remember, WINTA!

            Speaking of that kind of thing, what does Sec. Blinken have to say about Burma & the junta’s extension of the state of emergency? Could he make a statement of our disappointment?

            Speaking of disappointment, are you feeling it regarding the bankruptcy of Yellow? It’s so unfortunate that CEO Darrell Harris failed! As the 1st Black CEO of a LTL trucking company, I wish he had been able to use the $700 million loan he got from DJT to make a go of it. Now 30,000 employees are wondering what’s next & shipping in the US may get a lot more expensive. I hope that doesn’t ruin your good economic forecast.
