My Dear Friend & POTUS, JRB,

            NATO makes me squeamish! I don’t like an organization that insists nations spend 2% of their GDP on weapons. Do we really want the aggressors of WWII to build up their armies? I prefer that Austria invest in green energy & I think that Alexander Van der Bellen (AVDB) feels the same way!

            Please talk to AVDB about Erdogan (RTE). He can convince you that selling F-16s to Turkey SHOULD NEVER HAPPEN!!! As Robert Menendez told the Senate in Dec, RTE is not to be trusted. At that time RTE had just threatened to bomb Athens!

            Speaking of bombs, yesterday 2 junta jets dropped bombs on a monastery & school in Yemyet Village, Burma. How do you know that RTE won’t do that kind of thing?

            If you can’t tell, I am riled!

I was hoping to write an encouraging letter that included musings about Vilnius, the City of Divine Mercy where the Gate of Dawn has a rendition of Mary who some have seen come to life. But I am too distracted by your dealings with RTE to conjure up spiritual suggestions.

            I am also miffed that of the 31 leaders at NATO only 5 are women. I am troubled to see that one of those women, Mette Frederiksen, decided to triple Denmark's military spending over the next 10 years. This spending will be partly financed by the abolition of a public holiday for employees. I’m shocked that the unions let her get away with that. Dang!

            VVP & the arms manufacturers in the US are thrilled to see countries wasting their tax $$ on weapons. WINTA!!!
