My dear Friend & POTUS, JRB,

            You are being trumped again. DJT has more mentions than you in all my papers. Are we seeing DJT’s apocalypse?

            I noticed that his bank, Deutsche, has hit a snag. I always wondered if their loans to him were prudent. They are now testifying that he defrauded them, but Rosemary Vrablic knew he was a risky customer when she started dealing with him. DJT & Deutsche Bank remind me of Anna Sorokin & her ability to work the financiers to her advantage. The system is built on trust & it’ll break if we don’t protect it.

            Speaking of trust, thanks for visiting Canada & restoring their trust in us. I wish you & JPJT were not being so harsh on refugees. Anyone who is willing to brave the cold on Roxham Road has the strength to contribute to our countries. We should welcome folks like that with open arms. Actually, Jesus would suggest we welcome any stranger with open arms. I encourage you to remember that.

            Unfortunately, it looks like the junta’s visit to Cox’s Bazaar to talk with Rohingya about going back to Burma is just a publicity stunt. They asked a lot of questions but did not manke any assurances. Folks don’t want to return without full rights as citizens. As one man put it, “refugees cannot trust the junta, especially since the genocide is still ongoing. ..the biggest concern is that there is no guarantee that the cycle of violence against the Rohingya will not repeat itself”.

            Please do more to promote peace. The kids of our country need to hear you say things like, “violence never helps.” You do set a good example by being kind, but you need to do more. I witnessed two boys being mean yesterday to a peer who was asking them for help. I’d like to be able to say, we don’t act like that in America, rather than “that’s not nice.” Let’s do more.
