My Dear Friend & POTUS, JRB,

            Are you planning to have some fun at Camp David this holiday weekend? Maybe play a game with the family or sled down a hill – maybe dance or sing. If I am lucky, I will trick my husband into having some fun. He used to be a fun hog! He’d suss out the new event in town & we’d partake – parade, carnival, festival, sports, arts – he’d find it & we’d do it. He had mastered the art of diversion at an early age, realizing that being out of the house was the safest place for him. He was so playful that friends in college called him, “Sport.” He lost that spirit Christmas 2018, maybe we can recapture it this year.

            Do you think I should tell him to “Keep the Faith?” I noticed you reciting that to the kids at the Children’s Hospital yesterday. It might be hard to keep something if you never had it in the first place.

            Maybe we’ll just listen to Cher’s new Christmas album. She is the fun hog of all time & even at 77, she’s having a blast!

            I have a suggestion & an ask today.

            Suggestion – after the holidays, invite Kate Cox to the WH & highlight her story of needing to leave TX so she could terminate her pregnancy. As Maureen Dowd points out in a recent NYT piece, KC’s case is toxic to the GOP & illustrates the danger of having “a handful of cloistered, robed zealots, driven by religious doctrine” in the SCOTUS. Protecting women’s reproductive rights can determine the next election so best get busy. You might invite Cher to the WH, too. She’s all about women’s rights & loves you.

            Ask - fulfill the pledges of the BURMA Act & persuade Thailand & India to facilitate provision of more aid across their borders. Do whatever you can to build cooperation among the EAOs & NUG.
