My Dear Friend & POTUS, JRB,

            This date is a biggie. I prefer to think of it in terms of the events of 2000 some odd years ago, known as the Epiphany, when 3 Magi visited the young Jesus. It’s unclear when they made the visit & my guess is that Matthew mentions it in the Bible because they had a dream which indicated they best avoid King Herrod on their way home. The Jehovah’s witness make it clear that the 3 “kings” did not arrive at the stable, so should not be included in nativity scenes. I did not know that, did you?

            It seems that Jan 6 is a day when folks recognize that some men get power hungry & do harmful things. It’s comforting to know that when they do so, they meet resistance. The Magi avoided the King. Folks, like AZ Rep Rusty Bowers, said “NO,” to DJT when he asked them to lie about the election, & many citizens of Burma will refuse to participate in Min Aung Hlaing’s charade of an election in Burma in 6 months.

            Thanks for honoring 12 of the brave souls who took risks to protect our democracy on Jan 6, 2020. I wonder why the G had info about the Presidential Award ceremony today & it wasn’t on the President’s Public Schedule on the Factba.se website. You are planning to be at the celebration, aren’t you?
