My Dear Friend & POTUS, JRB,

            Welcome back. Congratulations on managing to stay away from photographers in St Croix. The only pictures I could find of you was one of you & young Hunter on the golf course & several of AF1. The Neville’s villa must have given you all the space you needed to relax. Must be nice to be rich.

            As we both get back to work today, I ask that you develop a plan for the Rohingya refugees like the Uniting for Ukraine plan that Ilya Somin (IS) wrote about in the WP today. IS & wife signed up to sponsor a family & in 5 weeks the family left Irpin & arrived in DC. IS suggests that you & Congress work together to turn this into the norm. Our great nation could so easily accommodate more refugees.

        Please accept Kevin McCarthy’s offer to join him in visiting the border to come up with a bipartisan immigration agreement. Failing that, an Exec Order to admit some Burmese refugees would be welcome.

            My young friend, Jack, who owns a home with my daughter, is visiting. He suggested that I call you Joey B. He is not your fan. He voted for you, but you are too much of a Democrat for his taste. He would prefer a more radical & younger POTUS. He & his co-workers wonder why we don’t have an age maximum for POTUS, something like the age minimum. They believe an age restriction would exclude you & the former POTUS from being elected Something to ponder.

I am still on the fence about whether you should run again. You may have a generation gap with the 118th Congress as they are the youngest Congress in history with an average age of 46. 18 of the newbies were born after 1983. I look forward to seeing what you can accomplish with this crew.

As we move into 2023, let’s take Paul Woodruff’s advice to  “Nurture your soul and help others nurture theirs… pay attention to beauty of soul, and help it flourish. It is what matters most.”
