            Another fast write – got up late due to sleep interruptions. Being amped after teaching & meeting 20 new people made it hard to settle last night. More cramps than usual did not help. Do you tend to sleep well? If so, count yourself lucky!!!!

            I see that you are spending some time promoting the Inflation Reduction Act to business & labor leaders. Have you talked to KLS about it? Do you know what it will take to get her on board? Deep down, she must have some affinity for the environment, since she was once a Green Party member. Her state is suffering more than most due to climate change. AZ is somewhat conservative state & she just barely won her Senate race against Martha McSalley in 2018 so she’s walking a tight rope. I encourage you to show her some compassion & have a listening session with her to see what makes her tick.

            I am worried about the Japanese journalist, Toru Kubota, who has been jailed by the junta in Burma for “encouraging dissent against the military.” Please see what you can do to get him released.
