My Dear Friend & POTUS, JRB,

            Please make abortion rights one of your top priorities! The recent vote in the Senate suggests it’s going to be an uphill battle to ensure women can decide what to do with their own body.

            I wish I had the time to look up your visit to Kankakee yesterday. Perhaps no news is good news & it went off without a hitch. I will remind you that no news is actually BAD NEWS, because it means that the press is ignoring you. I’m sorry to beat a dead horse but you need publicity for a victory in 2024.

            I am excited about your dinner with the ASEAN group tonight. I love the idea of having an empty chair for the Burmese leader who is NOT able to attend. I hope you figure out a creative plan for a peaceful transition back to democracy for the brave people of that tormented country.

            I am off to build some polyhedra with the 5th graders. I am hoping to connect with the enigmatic children in the room who avoid attention. Wish me luck.
