My Dear Friend & POTUS, JRB,

            I just got to watch the You-Tube video of the Reading Nook at the WH’s Eggucation event. It was wonderful. Jill’s rendition of Brown Bear, Brown Bear was nice. Especially, when she had the kids read along with her when all of the animals in the book were reviewed, but Jimmy Fallon’s recitation of his book, “Nana Loves You More,” was masterful! He elicited attention & interest by inviting the audience to share their names for their grandmothers & he maintained their interest by telling them to quack when they saw the duck in the book. He paused every now and then to ask a question. He read with energy & prosody, but best of all, he exuded love. His positive vibe is infectious & I am ready to start the day.

            That positive vibe is what you need to add to your repertoire. Your energy needs to light up the room, making people feel that they are in the most exciting place in the world at that minute. For all of his faults, I think that the former POTUS had that kind of charisma.

            I don’t know if it’s possible to learn to bring it forth, but I encourage you to work on it.

            As you work on your new communication style, don’t forget to mention Myanmar. Today’s NYT has an article about how the Tatmadaw has obliterated their health system by arresting & killing doctors who speak out against them. The situation there is dire!!! I know that the US has accepted patients from Ukraine who need critical medical care. Let’s do the same for the Burmese.
