My dear Friend & POTUS, JRB,

            It looks like you could have some showers while you’re in TX today. The folks of Tarrant County are excited about all of the attention they are getting from big name politicians. First a trip from Beto O’Rourke last week & now you – some feel like Ft. Worth is the MOST important city in the USA right now. I hope your concern for the environmental exposures faced by our vets will convince folks there to vote Democratic.

            I’m afraid your trip isn’t getting much media attention & your mentions are low today. That’s discouraging on a day when you are making that big announcement about banning Russian oil. I found it interesting that the WP avoided using your name by making its headline, “White House to Ban Import of Russian Oil.” What is going on?

            Rather than worry about that, I am choosing to spend my morning getting excited about teaching the 5th graders about International Women’s Day by sharing Amanda Gorman (AG) reciting her poem, “We Rise.” The class has several African American girls & I hope they get inspired by AG. I hope I can get everyone to pose for a photo of the #Break the Bias pose. Perhaps you & Jill could pose for one, too.

            Please continue to work to end violence everywhere, especially Myanmar.
