My dear Friend & POTUS, JRB,

            Thanks for uplifting Joshua Davis at the State of the Union address on Tues. You will recall that I wrote to you on Feb 12 about how inspired I was when I heard him introduce you on the video of your visit to Culpeper. The WP ran a sweet story about him today explaining how challenging it is for him to navigate school when he requires 10 -12 insulin shots every day to keep his blood sugar under control. It would be great if we can reduce the price of insulin for families like the Davis’.

            I was not in the mood to read about the Russian blast that came very close to creating a nuclear disaster, so I read about the World Cheese Championship instead. Please give a shoutout to the Dairy State for winning 45 best-of-class categories.

            I hope your conversation with Finnish President Sauli Niinistö goes well today. Don’t forget to ask after, Osku, his new pup & please share my condolences over his loss of Lennu last summer. We both know the special place that dogs have in our hearts. By the way how is Commander doing?

            Thanks for inviting a non-political representative from Burma to your meeting with the ASEAN folk at the end of the month. I hope you all figure out a way to help the people in Myanmar to restore their democracy. I wish Myanmar was getting as much attention as Ukraine & can’t help but wonder if we’d care more about the folks in SE Asia if they looked more like most Americans.
