My dear Friend & POTUS, JRB,

            I am at a loss for words this morning as I try to process Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. From what I can tell they have launched a 3 pronged attack which to this point has included 203 separate incidents, the most troubling of which is shelling a hospital in Vuhledar in Donetsk.

            I saw some footage of Volodymyr Zelenskiy telling his people they were handing out guns to anyone who wanted one, that they needed blood donations for the “defenders,” & that they would face the enemy head on. He was fierce, emphatic & clear.

            I hope your speech this afternoon has the same level of intensity & will convince our nation that VVP’s decision is a threat to us. I am deeply troubled that the former POTUS is singing VVP’s praises at this time, but that’s a side-show that is best ignored.

            As we are horrified by the Russian airstrikes in Kramatorsk, Dnipro, Kharkiv, Mariupol, Odessa, & Kyiv, we should also be horrified by the junta’s airstrikes on the Nan Mei Khon Village in the Kayah state of Myanmar. War is never the answer. Please do not get sucked into this one.
