My dear Friend & POTUS, JRB,

            You’ve got another light schedule & few mentions.

I have my fingers crossed that your strategy of dealing with VVP is working. According to the G you have “create(d) an environment of worst-case predictions, in which the only way the Russian leader can surprise the west is to opt for peace.” I hope your remarks make their way to folks in Russia so they hear that the world will ““not forget that Russia chose needless death and destruction”. We both know that WAR IS NOT THE ANSWER & I hope VVP figures that out.

            I enjoyed reading the speech you gave yesterday to the county councilmen who were convening from all over the USA to share strategies. I did not know that both you & KDH got your start in county politics & enjoyed reading your story about the rich lady who wanted the dead dog removed from her lawn. I also liked the sentiment, “you got to know how to know.” I’ll try to remember that one.

            I’m disappointed to read that China is continuing to back the junta in Myanmar. Please continue to keep an eye on that situation.
