My Dear Friend & POTUS, JRB,

            The foster puppies are barking at each other, while Karissa, the resident adult dog, is stuck to me like glue. The change in barometric pressure has them on edge. Did you know that their sensitive noses enable them to perceive weather changes because smell travels differently through the air? Does Commander get anxious in storms?

On this rainy day between Christmas & New Year I am having trouble deciding whether to work or relax. I think I’ll do a bit of both.  It looks like you are doing the same, having your briefing & then an “in-town pool call” & shortly thereafter an “out-of-town pool call” b4 traveling to St. Croix.

I’d love to know the difference between the 2 different pool calls, but I don’t want to spend my precious leisure time looking that up. I have already spent enough time reading Dave Barry’s “2022 in Review” which was funny, but longer than necessary. FYI “Biden” appears 13 times while the former POTUS’ name appears 16 times.

It’s too bad that DJT does not know what to do with himself. I encourage you to refrain from forcefully condemning him as the WP suggests you have begun to do. Just remember that every time you refer to him, he gets free publicity. He needs time for silent contemplation to recover from all the trauma in his life. Best to leave him be.

            On another matter, asccording to Aljazeera, 58 Rohingya men arrived on Indrapatra beach at a fishing village in Indonesia’s Aceh Besar district after a month adrift. Other boats overloaded with refugees are in the Andaman Sea. Please call Tom Andrews, UN special rapporteur on human rights in Myanmar, to see what we can do to help. KINGDOMOFARKANTV features an interview about the situation, but it’s in a language I can’t understand. Please ask someone in the WH to find a translator so we can both learn more.
