            An alarm malfunction this AM meant that I missed my Wed meditation with my BFF. I am trying to not let it ruin my day. I am mindful of the proverb, to err is human; to forgive, divine. Did you know that was penned by Alexander Pope, not Shakespeare?

            Speaking of erring, this AM I read about a couple of yours. Mispronouncing Rishi Sunak’s name was quite understandable, given that he just burst on the scene. More problematic was your declaration that the college debt relief action was a law passed by Congress, “by a vote or two.” Were you confused about the difference between an Executive Order & a law?

Did you see Marc Thiessen’s piece in the WP today where he claims your confusion relates to a convoluted message about the relationship between the “Inflation Reduction Act” & debt reduction. I have not had the time follow the math related to your policies. I presume that if I, a math teacher, am oblivious, so are most voters. I would hope you would have it figured out, but I am beginning to have my doubts.

Speaking of budgets, according to today’s NYT, Burma & Russia are teaming up & hoping to avoid basing their transactions on the $. I assume they will use some kind of barter trade system. Burma doesn’t have much to offer, beyond their moral support. The article said something about “an agreement from Russia to explore nuclear energy in Myanmar.” Do you have any idea what that’s all about?

I hope your “virtual political reception for Matt Cartright” today goes well. Will you be much help to him given that his district voted for DJT?
