My dear Friend & POTUS, JRB,

            Thanks for stopping off at the Honey Hut in Cleveland yesterday. It gave me a chance to vicariously enjoy the chocolate-chocolate chip ice cream cone (CCCICC) you were licking as you chatted with that group of cheerful citizens. I’m sure they are telling all of their friends & family about it. I wish I could eat a CCCICC. Unfortunately, I have blood sugar issues & sensitivity to caffeine so a CCCICC would be a double whammy for me.

            Perhaps you will find another CCCICC on your visit to JBLE today where “Nothing happens until something moves.” I assume they have that motto because the folks at Eustis learn how to fix transpo equipment. They just had their Aviation Maintenance Technician Day in addition to their yearly firefighter force where they practice extinguishing fires on the “ghost” ships in the James River. People who can fix things are good to have around.

            I will encourage my mom to head over to see you. She lives just down the road from JBLE.

            Please help me understand your stance on the environment. I am now confused after reading in today’s NYT that your fossil fuel moves clash with your pledges on climate change. They speculate that you are trying to please Alaska Sens Murkowski & Sullivan by letting Conoco Phillips’ drilling project on the North Slope move forward. Don’t you think it’s crazy that they will have to install chillers into the permafrost so that they can drill? Isn’t that a sign that things are awry?
