My dear Friend & POTUS, JRB,

            How do you do it? Talk for 25 minutes barely referring to your notes putting the emphasis in all the right places. I just watched your speech at the Ford Rogue F-150 plant & was impressed. According to the article in the Detroit Free Press, fork lift operator, Angela Powell, stole the show when she introduced you by talking about the need for “well-paying union jobs with benefits.” I wonder if she wrote the speech herself.

            It seems that you had several intense conversations with some brilliant women yesterday. What did you think of Linda Zhang? Did she answer all of the questions about the batteries and electric motors to your satisfaction? What did you have to say to Rep Rashida Tlaib? Was she telling you about her grandmother that lives in the West Bank?

            How was your test drive? I had no idea you were such a car enthusiast. I can’t even tell you the model of the car I’m driving & I love having days when I don’t have to get into a vehicle. To each his own.

            It’s too bad that you didn’t take a minute to visit the Arab American National Museum in downtown Dearborn. I think they would have opened it up so you could have a look-see. It’s the only museum of its kind in the US. Did you know that Dearborn is 30% Arab American? Did you see that thousands of them came out for a protest yesterday? Is that what led you to tell Bibi he needed to de-escalate? By the way, thanks for doing that. I think he can let his Iron Dome Defense System do its thing.  Somehow it deflects 90% of rockets hurled at Israel so they should be ok without all the bombing.

            I hope your commencement speech at the Coast Guard Academy goes well today.

PS – The persistence of the Burmese protestors has me thinking about Luke 19, especially the bit about the singing stones. Maybe we can discuss that part of the Bible some day.
