My Dear Friend & POTUS, JRB,

            I am going to have to forgo the pleasantries today & get right down to my “asks.” Hopefully, you have already gotten the message that, like all people, you are my Friend, who I believe has the Light of God within. I hope you continue to let your Light shine.

            Ask #1 – Get creative to make reparations to the Black community. One way is to start talking about Theodore Johnson’s provocative idea to give Black voters 5/3 of a vote. Even though this would mean that CA losses 3 Congressional seat, I think it’s a creative suggestion to acknowledge our historical debt to the enslaved people upon whose backs our economy sits without costing the government any $$. Along with this you could follow Dorothy Brown’s advice & overhaul the tax system so that it stops privileging home indebtedness. Both of these ideas involve a lot of math which is probably why I find them intriguing.

            Ask #2 – Call James Shelby, AKA Qadhafi. He’s the head of the KC Homeless Union who is arguing that $7 million is spent to benefit the unhoused & no one is consulting with the folks who are living in tents in front of town hall. He ended up on the street when he was released from prison. He’s bringing folks together & looking after his neighbor. We need more of that kind of thinking these days so take 5 minutes to hear what he has to say.

            Ask #3 – Call PM Modi & encourage him to allow fleeing police from Myanmar to stay in India. Perhaps you can make a deal with him that he can eventually send them here. You may know that there’s a thriving Burmese community if Fort Wayne IN who would welcome them warmly. For the time being he should stop telling the officials in the state of of Mizoram to repatriate the refugees.

            That’s it. I’ve got to get breakfast going before Meeting for Worship.
