Friend DJT,
Please consult with President Julian Bear Runner (JBR) before you go to his land today. As you know, the Ogalala Sioux are a sovereign nation. In 1868 the US entered into the Fort Laramie treaty with the Sioux which acknowledged that they owned the Black Hills which had been their ancestral lands from before 1492. Then we went and carved up their sacred mountain and stole their land for gold mining. You may not know that in 1980 the Supreme Court ruled that the appropriation of their lands was illegal & suggested $100 million in reparations but the Sioux just wanted their land back.
JBR is an incredibly polite guy, so I’m sure your conversation with him will be respectful. Talking with JBR might help you understand that loud pyrotechnics release all kinds of toxins in the air and might start forest fires. They also leave behind Perchlorate that contaminates the water for a long time. While you’re talking with him you might also ask how you can help his nation with CV. He’s worried that the IHS only has 4 ventilators on his reservation. I’m sure he’ll appreciate your help.
It looks like the Spirit of America Showcase was really small this year. Don’t you usually have an exhibit from every state? I saw a photo of you swinging a Texas Timber bat. Did the Hardins tell you about their pink $119 Breast Cancer Awareness bat that comes with a black or half-coat handle & can be made with either maple or ash? You might want to get one of those for Melania to celebrate the 4th.
I hope you have a safe trip today,
