Friend DJT,

            I’m jealous. You get to have a party with AMLO and 20 other Mexican and American business leaders when the rest of us are doing our best to be socially distant. Even though I am inclined, by nature, to be socially distant, I do like to gather with friends from time to time. In fact, if it weren’t for CV, I would be in Austria right now with a gang of friends from college, hiking around in the Alps & eating sausages. We’ve zoomed together several times, which has been nice, but it’s just not the same as being together.

            What was your impression of AMLO? I’m proud of both of you for letting bygones be bygones. It’s impressive that even though you have said some offensive things about Mexicans & he likened you to Hitler, you managed to be polite to one another yesterday. Apparently, you, two, share a similar combative temperament with a “flare for capturing attention,” so I guess it’s not surprising that you got along. It’s great that we have a new trade agreement so I’m glad you had something to celebrate.
