My dear Friend & POTUS, DJT,

            It looks like you are having a beautiful day at Camp David. I hope you take the gang out for a walk and appreciate the beauty of God’s creation.

            Are you itching to play golf? While you can’t play 18 holes today, you could use all four tees of the one Camp David pitch-and-putt hole & then head over to the driving range to hit some long balls. It would do you a world of good to get back into the swing of things.

            I’m glad that NY Rep. Elise Stefanik (EMS) is joining you for the weekend. She recently met with hospital leaders from her North Country District & she can share with you their concerns. Non-metro areas all over the country are having the same problem, lots of old vulnerable folk with minimal healthcare services available. They’re your voters, Donald, & they are in trouble. Also, in trouble are the truckers who lined up their rigs in front of the WH yesterday. They need help, too. Heck, we all need help. The 5th graders are so restless that they can’t sit in front of their computers for an hour.

            According to a couple of economists writing in today’s WP we can get things going by July 4 for $74 billion with 5 million tests/day & aggressive contact tracing. Adm. Giroir says that “an unreasonable benchmark” but if we buy 200 Roche Cobas 8000 analyzers and spread them around the country, we could do it. The 8000s would have to run 24 hours a day so we’d need 3 shifts of workers.  We’d also need the right reagents to detect the nucleic acid in SARS-Co-V-2, but you can make that happen with the right phone call, can’t you? Let’s go for it.

            I was disappointed to hear that you fired another IG. I don’t have the energy to counsel you on that one, but suffice it to say, I think you made a mistake.
