My dear Friend & POTUS, DJT,

            How did you like the mask that JSP was wearing yesterday? I loved the Colorado logo on it. It’s not exactly N95, but it should block most of the water droplets that he’s exhaling.

            I used to have a N95, but it’s lost among the clutter of my house. I got 2 of them when we were having the terrible fires here & the campus was closed down. The university was giving them away. Who knew that they would become such precious commodities? I got a shipment of beautiful masks that my mom sewed so I can go out in style, protecting myself & my neighbors. Would you like her to sew one for you?

            I’m sure that you’ve heard that CA has a $1 billion contract for 300 million N95s with BYD, a Chinese firm that makes electric vehicles. It’s too bad that BYD doesn’t have its act together & the National Institute for Occupational Health & Safety finds it “not acceptable.” Maybe we can get 3 million crafters in the USA to crank out 100 masks each, and we wouldn’t have to deal with China.

            Maybe you can snag some masks for us at Owens & Minor today. It should be a lovely spring day for your visit. I’m not sure what you’re going to learn by touring a big warehouse, but it’ll be nice for you to leave your zipcode. I haven’t left my zipcode since March 11 when I went to visit the 5th graders. I promised them some brownies at that time & I’m sad that I won’t be able to deliver on that promise.

            I hope to visit PA someday. There are lots of Quakers there. Maybe you’ll meet some today.
