My dear Friend & POTUS, DJT,

            This is just a quick heads-up because I have to gear up for my foray into the grocery store and you know what a traumatic enterprise that can be. I am choosing to go early today so I don’t have to jockey for space with other customers in the aisle. I am hopeful that on a Tuesday morning the shelves will be stocked and there may even be some toilet paper. Fingers crossed that my car battery still has some juice.

            My heads-up is no one cares about the wall any more. Citizens don’t fear immigrants nearly as much as they fear CV. Don’t waste time in your press conferences talking about how many miles of wall we have. Instead, spend some time expressing your condolences to families who have lost loved ones. Folks are suffering out here & need to know that you feel our pain.

            I’m sorry that you lost your cool at the press conference yesterday when Weijia Jiang asked you about why you are competing with other countries when it comes to the number of CV tests that have been performed. Telling her to ask China that question appeared racist. I know you don’t see yourself that way, so perhaps you could apologize.
