My dear Friend & POTUS, DJT,

            Have you finished your taxes? As you know, we should be turning them in tomorrow. Since we got that extension, I haven’t done mine. I started, but only got half way through and lost interest once Turbo Tax showed that I’d have to write a check. No reason to do that before I have to. I’m sure that you’ll be writing a check, too, and hopefully you won’t do any tricky tax dodges this year. Speaking of which I was sorry to read in the WP that millionaires got another tax cut in the CARES package. AMM is so sneaky!!!

            I hope your visit with COVID-19 survivors at the WH goes well today. I assume you’ll be on Zoom. I know that you wouldn’t want to risk bringing some active virus into the WH. Will Tiffany Pinckney be there? She’s the first person to donate her plasma to Mt. Sinai Hospital so they could use it as “convalescent serum” to treat folks in the ICU. Maybe you’ll be talking to Dr. Michael Schirripa, the OBGYN from Staten Island University Hospital who spent 3 days on a ventilator. He’s been through a lot. Not only did he experience the physical & emotional trauma of severe illness, he lost his mom to COVID-19 3 days after he left the hospital. Please pass on my best wishes to the survivors at the meeting.

            Will the free RDTs that were promised in the CARES act be available anytime soon? It would be great if folks could determine whether they have the right immunoglobulins to fight off CV. Those that do could go back to work. Serological tests are probably part of GCN, KB & JRI’s plan to gradually open things up. GCN says he’ll be using science and data to make decisions about phasing out the stay-at-home order. Isn’t it great that CA had only half the COVID-19 cases than the John Hopkins model projected. What a relief!!!

            I’m very concerned that the African-American community is being hit the hardest by this thing. Please do what you can to address this.
