My dear Friend & POTUS, DJT,

            Do you have any favorite hymns? Mine is “There is a Balm in Gilead.” I hope to play it for my Friends as we get together for our Meeting for Worship (MFW) this morning. I hope folks find it comforting. While we sit in silence in the presence of our Zoom screens, I will do as I always do and hold you in the Light.

I will also be holding Asian-Americans in the Light. Rep. Judy Chu’s video in today’s WP reminded me that they are facing harassment from ignorant folk who blame them for CV. I caught a glimpse of that when I asked 5th graders what they knew about the virus & many of them mentioned that it came from China. Several referred to negative stereotypes in their responses. Luckily these were not shared publicly, but I am sure that the one Asian-American child in the class, who happens to be Laotian, heard that kind of thing on the playground. I implore you to stop calling CV, the “Chinese virus.” It gives ignorant folks license to say stupid things.

It was nice of you to offer to help KJU with CV. I encourage you to let him know that firing projectiles into the ocean at this time is a bad idea. South Korea should not have to worry about KJU while they are doing all they can to keep CV under control. I understand that they are doing pretty well with that due to their massive testing effort.

Speaking of testing, I’m glad that Jared’s (JCK) helping you with getting drive-through sites up and running. Don’t you think you it would be better if he met with MRP and his team so the right hand would know what the left hand is doing? His brother’s Oscar Insurance Co. stands to make some $$ off of CV testing so I encourage you to make sure JCK’s efforts are totally transparent to us all.

It’s time for me to get ready for MFW,
