My Dear Friend & POTUS, DJT,

            Have you seen the funny 2020 Christmas ornaments being advertised in the NY Post? They are custom made so you can get the names of loved ones on each of the mask-covered faces. One of the zeroes in 2020 is shaped like a CV particle & “our quarantine Christmas” is written on toilet paper framed by hand sanitizer. You could get one for the tree in the Blue room.

            You might also consider getting one for Dan Gable and his 23 family members that are coming to the WH today so he can receive his Medal of Freedom. He’s worried that he won’t be able to control his emotions. Have you been to his museum in Iowa that celebrates his wrestling accomplishments including 15 NCAA championships? He likes to get his endorphins flowing by going for a run. I hope he convinces you to join him. You could use some endorphins.

            I was looking at the NYP to see what it had to say about elementary schools opening up in the Big Apple today. 200,000 kids are heading back to their classrooms & their parents are happy. I was surprised that the union went along with the plan. We aren’t expecting our schools to open any time soon.

            I had a magical moment this AM when I read about the Virgen de Guadalupe parade in LA this weekend. Unfortunately, it was curtailed due to CV and had 30 cars instead of the usual floats & bands that attract thousands of people. The magic came when I read about how in Dec 1531, la Madre visited Juan Diego & told him to pick roses to take to the Bishop. Everyone knows that roses don’t bloom in the winter, but he happened to find some on the top of a mountain. I wanted to change our family’s name to “Winters-rose” when my daughter was born. She’s here today. Coincidence? I don’t think so.
