My Dear Friend & POTUS, DJT,

            There’s been so much going on lately that I missed the arrival of the WH Christmas tree, a beautiful Fraser Fir from Dan & Bryan’s trees in Shepherdstown WV . Today I found out that it arrived before Thanksgiving, & is now up in the Blue Room covered in ornaments made by the children of America to represent something special about their state. I’d love to see some of those creations. Perhaps you can take a few photos for me.

            I hope your trip to South GA goes well this evening. According to the Valdosta Daily Times the find people of the Azalea City are “not in the mood for name calling.” They are concerned that “continued distrust in the votes could depress voter turnout.” Some are confused & yearn for a consistent message. I encourage you to avoid talking about yourself and refrain from saying nasty things about the governor.

            Please remember to express sympathies to Harrison Deal’s family. I’m sure you heard that his death yesterday in a car accident devastated Sen. Kelly Loeffler (KLL) & Gov. Brain Kemp. All of the papers noted that he was nice kid, just getting started in his political career by working on KLL’s campaign as he finished up at Univ. of GA.

            I hope you are spending the rest of your day working on the stimulus package. I encourage you to call economist Mariana Mazzuto. She is reimagining capitalism by figuring out new metrics to gauge economic health. She says the “GDP is used to justify excessive inequalities of income & wealth.” She likes the Genuine Progress Indicator that they use in New Zealand. She also points out that many of the world’s achievements stem from government investment. So, as you craft that stimulus package, think about some government innovative investments.
