My dear Friend, DJT,

            I got an email this morning from BHO. It said, “RCA, you never cease to amaze me.” That was nice to read. I’d like to get that kind of email from you sometime.

            In yesterday’s letter I was a bit confused about the timing of the debate. It is tonight! Are you ready? David Lauter, writing in the LAT, says that you reside in your own information bubble, being somewhat oblivious to the concerns of the average American. Brett O'Donnell says that you need to “go on offense, without being offensive.” Others say you need to return to your “disciplined teleprompter demeanor.” But lots of people doubt that you can do it. I am holding out hope that you will see the Light today, & remember that you are speaking to people like my mom.

My mom is in her 80s & she can’t go to church. She’s a Republican but she’s planning to vote for JRB, but she could change her mind if you impress her in the debate tonight. If you want her vote, you need to show her that you take CV seriously & will do all you can to minimize its spread. She would love to hear you look straight in the camera & say, “I want everyone to wear their masks & avoid large gatherings. That means no big Thanksgiving this year. If we can do that, we might turn the corner.”

The shock & awe of your turn around on CV might turn around the electorate. Why not give it a try?
