My Dear Friend and President, DJT,
It sounds like your meeting with KM yesterday was amicable. It was nice of you to compliment Greece for getting itself out of its economic crisis. I hope you didn’t promise him any weapons.
I hope you & I can make some good decisions in the next few days. My decisions have to do with my car, trivial in the scheme of things, but perhaps representative of a larger problem of needing to simplify my material life so that I can concentrate on other more important things.
Your decisions are much more monumental and I am hoping that you will take your time and avoid acting on impulse. In the articles that I read this morning you are criticized for your “seat-of-the-pants governance,” for having a “chaotic and mistake-prone public response” and perhaps worst of all “accomplishing what no one in the Iranian elite thought possible” uniting “a fractured, exhausted and desperate Iranian public in a show of unity.” I hope that the speech you are about to give helps us understand your strategy.
Best,
