My Dear Friend and President, DJT,
Are you getting these letters? I know that the WH computer is receiving them, but I have no idea if a person's eyes actually look at them. It would be nice to know if that is the case. I speculate that they are read by a machine that looks for certain words and then tallies the number of correspondences that are related to various issues. I assume that when I included, "opioid crisis" in yesterday's letter, the machine included my letter in the count of folks worried about drugs. If a human does read these letters, I'd love to know. Even if they don't, I'm going to keep writing them because they are helping save my soul by keeping me hopeful.
This morning, my hope was fueled by Richard Ojeda, the "Democratic Trump-whisperer" running for the 3rd District WV Congressional seat. You said something nasty about him at your rally yesterday so I looked him up. He's running a shoe-string campaign with a bunch of amateurs and he may win! He's the perfect WV candidate. According to Politco, he's even more of a populist than you are. They claim, he's a "pro-labor, twang-talking, plainspoken populist, scrambling the state’s recent rightward shift by harkening back to a deeper, more radical vein of WV's rich political history." Teachers in WV are the "new coal miners" and Richard is their hero for representing their interests in the WV legislature when they went on strike in March. He's got 33 tatoos, a buzz cut and a Bronze Star from 24 years in the military. Not your typical politician and definitely not part of the "elite" that you were criticizing at the rally last night. Isn't it exciting that he's in the race?
It's too bad that your former friends, Cohen and Manafort, are in such trouble. Perhaps you should be more discerning when choosing your advisors.
Have a great day,
RCA
