My dear Friend and president, DJT,

            Don't you wish that things would just slow down? That life could be simpler. I know that I do and my life is much simpler than yours. I can only imagine what it must be like to have the weight of the world on your shoulders. Please remember that you do not have to get in the  middle of everything and fix every problem. For example, I know that you want Pakistan and India to get along, but India does not want your help. Unfortunately, you put Narendra Modiin an awkward spot when you said he had asked you to get involved. I'm sure you now know, he doesn't want your help.

            As a cricket star, PM Imran Khan (IAH) knows all about sticky wickets and he's got his fair share of them. He could use all kinds of help getting the Pakistani economy moving again, but perhaps it would be best to just give him some encouragement to free that US doctor that he has locked up for helping to find Osama bin Laden. I'm afraid that Barkha Dutt opined in today's WP that your "ignorance was on full display" in your meeting with IAH yesterday. I hope you do better next time.

            I'm sure you'll have a blast at the Teen Student Action Summit today. Those bright-eyed kids remind me of the "Dartmouth Review" crew in Hanover in 1978-1982. It was amazing what a ruckus a few well-funded youngsters can kick up. I have always found it ironic that one of the most heartless of the group has since become a Catholic priest. I suspect he is still atoning for his callous treatment of his classmates. Please encourage the kids you talk to today to be loving and kind when they disagree with their peers. That's what makes democracy great - when we agree to disagree and forgive those who trespass against us.
