My dear Friend and president, DJT,

            How was your cabinet meeting yesterday? There's no mention of it on the front page of the WP today, so I assume it was uneventful. Did you talk about infrastructure at all? I would love to see you putting some time and energy into building bridges. Can you please start working on that? 

            Speaking of such things, I just checked to see how Sec. of Transportation, Elaine Chao (ELC), is doing. It's too bad that she is making folks uncomfortable by appearing in China 12 times with her dad and sister at events for their shipping company. It appears that she's endorsing the company and that's a no-no. I wonder what ELC thinks about the trade war with China. Have you two talked about that?

            I found it interesting that TX Rep. William Hurd voted with the Dems to condemn those tweets yesterday. He's a fascinating guy, don't you think? The Texas Monthly noted that he is "exuberant and wonky" and manages to "speak truth to power." He's an old-fashioned conservative while being against the Wall and your immigration policies. His experience as a CIA agent has helped him understand international politics, and his experience being student body president at TX A&M when 12 students died in a bonfire collapse shows he's a great "consoler and chief." Do you think he could be President someday? We could do worse.

            I hope we both have a great day today. Your rally in Greensville, SC, with 8000 fans should be fun. They are going to be waiting in line on a VERY hot day so I hope it's worth it for them. Will Sen. Tim Scott be there? You know he was upset by your squad tweet and thought it was racist. Perhaps best not to mention it today. Put that mistake behind you and move on!
