Do you EVER get sick? I can't remember a time that you looked under the weather or even fatigued. How do you do it? Today I have a cold. I slept 10 hours last night and I'm still tired. I have puffy eyes and a sore throat. I'll go to work today because I have to run one meeting and give a report in another one, but I won't look good and I won't sound perky. But I will show up, and according to Lizzie Fletcher (running to unseat 18-year incumbent John Culberson in the 7th Congressional District of TX) that's what matters most. John C. is going to need all the help he can get to beat Lizzie. His district has gone from being mostly Caucasian to being 62% non-White. Her campaign focuses on controlling flooding which is a big deal to the folks who were devastated by Harvey last year. She's got her work cut out for her but that race is an exciting one, don't you think.
How would you characterize your relationship with Ted Cruz these days? Are you friends, frenemies, teammates? Whatever, it's nice that you have buried the hatchet and will be sharing the stage with him at your MAGA rally in Houston today.
