My dear Friend and president, DJT,

            It looks like everyone had a wonderful time at yesterday's Second Chance event at the WH. It was nice to see some POCs in the East Room. Dr. Parnell Scott, Nino Brown, Marcus Bullock and Johnny Taylor added to the spectrum of skin tones usually present in that room. 

            I think it's wonderful that you are advocating for former inmates to get jobs and that Kim Kardashian is giving them gift cards to get to job interviews. Now that you are showing some grace towards folks who committed crimes, perhaps you will see it in your heart to show some grace toward folk who are fleeing their homes. As you said yesterday, "we arebreaking down old barriers, tearing down yesterday’s obstacles, and replacing the failures of the past with the bright and limitless future." I love that optimism. Don't you think we can break down that barrier in TX, AZ, NM & CA and give our poor neighbors to the South an opportunity to pursue their dreams? Please give that idea some consideration.
