My dear Friend and president, DJT,
It's another foggy morning in Santa Barbara. I am getting ready to go out for breakfast with an old friend from college before flying home. Last night I had dinner with a treasured colleague. I am so lucky to have friends who live in such a beautiful place. I look forward to coming back.
Did you hear about the rallies that took place here last week to protest your admin's opening up 1,011,470 acres of public land in the area for fossil fuel extraction? Folks here do not want to be fracked. They don't want their water sources contaminated. Santa Barbara doesn't have enough fresh water as it is, so it would be unwise to risk the little that is available. You really don't want to be associated with messing up this gorgeous corner of our country, do you?
I read your tweet about defending the rights of homosexual all over the world. Thanks for expressing your concern for the LBTQ community as Pride month begins. While you are at it, please tell Sec. Alex Azar (AMA) to reconsider the waiver that he gave to Miracle Hill Ministries (MHM) that allows them to discriminate against anyone who is not straight and Protestant from being a foster parent. Given the large number of LGBTQ youth in the foster system, a place like MHM should not be in the business of placing them. Talk to Ivanka about this. I think she can help you understand why it's a problem.
Enjoy your Saturday,
RCA
