My dear Friend and President, DJT,

            Another morning, another missed letter. Today I had to run out to Sacto to meet with some math educators from County Offices around the state. We are developing a network so we can all do a better job of helping teachers. Today we talked about "Routines for Reasoning" as a vehicle for getting kids to talk about their thinking. Exciting stuff! You should have been there.

            So, it's 7:00 PM right now and I am dashing off to a book club meeting so this letter will be super short.

            I see that you spent your day in Ohio. How are things at the Lima Army Tank Plant? Was Phebe Novakovic there to greet you and give you a tour of her plant? Did you know that she's considered in the top 100 CEOs by RHR International? Unfortunately for her, the debacle with the killing of Jamal Khashoggi has affected a big sale of some of her machinery made in Canada to the Saudis. I think she should continue to grow the tactical IT hardware side of the business and put the brakes on building tanks. We have enough tanks in the world, don't you think?

         I hope you had fun at the Brookside Country Clubin Canton. Too bad you arrived so late in the day and didn't get a chance to play a round of golf.
