Happy Valentine's Day! How will you be celebrating with your Valentine? Mine has not been feeling well lately so I will probably hang out with him watching a basketball game and laying low. You could do something so much more exciting! A candlelit dinner by the fire might be nice.

How was your meeting with Pres. Duque yesterday? The only news I could find about it was that Venezuelan President Madurocalled it a "feast of hate." I hope it wasn't that! I understand that everyone is worried about the health and welfare of the citizens in Venezuela, so much so that Holland has set up a humanitarian aid hub on Curacao which is only 55 miles from V. Have you been to Curacao? I visited there in college. It has a lovely mountain in the middle and an interesting Dutch/Carribean vibe. You should go visit the aid hub so you can check it out.

I have to run off to watch some novices teaching math. Speaking of math, you have to take a look at Süss, a math widget, where you can change the parameters of a heart shape generated by an algebraic equation. The algorithm that controls it has something to do with "singularities" which is "a jump in an otherwise continuous process," kind of like your presidency. Read all about it in today's NYT.
