My dear Friend and President, DJT,
How was your dinner with the generals in the Blue Room last night? I suspect it was awkward. I'm sure they were confused about your decision to pull troops out of Syria. Were you able to reassure them? Your tweet, "if Turkey does anything that I, in my great and unmatched wisdom, consider to be off limits, I will totally destroy and obliterate the Economy of Turkey," may not have done the trick. Generals take themselves pretty seriously, so they may not have realized you were joking when you referred to your wisdom.
In my blissful ignorance, I think it's a great idea to take the military out of Syria. As you know, I'd love for us to have no military at all, but those, who know more than I, are questioning this move. When your golf buddy, LOG, calls you "short sighted and irresponsible" and your BFF, AMM, tells the world that, "a precipitous withdrawal of US forces from Syria would only benefit Russia, Iran, and the Assad regime," you have to wonder if you should have talked to them first. I'll bet they are worried that Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has taken their places in your heart. Is it a good idea to disrespect their loyalty while you are in the midst of this "I" situation?

PS - How is Melania these days? It must be hard for her to be mocked for her anti-bullying efforts. I encourage you to follow her advice to Be Best so she can start to smile again.
