I had a nice birthday - got a couple of cards and texts, enjoyed a rendition of Happy Birthday in EDU 206A led by my TA, had an angel food cake baked by my ELD (ever-loving daughter). I didn't see a card from you. Maybe next year.
I see that you'll be spending a couple of hours with Finnish President Sauli Niinisto (SVN) today. Please ask him about how his dog, Lennu, is doing. Lennu hasn't been in the news for the past year. I hope he's still alive. Maybe SVN will bring him to the WH. Do you allow dogs in the WH? If not, you can make an exception for Lennu. He has demonstrated his self-discipline in other Presidential venues and he will deflect attention away from your challenges.
It seems that SVN is a big fan of yours. Newsweek reports that at a recent Yalta European Strategy annual meeting SVN stood up for you, claiming you are "tough" with your headlines but "a lot more constructive" underneath when drilling down into the issues.
I hope you, two, figure out what to do about China trying to dominate everything from the 5G market to the new shipping channel opening up in Arctic. Gao Feng, China’s special representative for Arctic affairs, believes that we have "a competition of powers." and thinks it's about "who can get more friends.”
I hope we can work on getting some friends and I hope Finland will be one of them.
